Welcome to the web site of Darwen Gala Committee -
the organisers of Darwen Annual Town Gala.
A road parade starts from the Anchor Football ground on Anchor road at 12-30
and proceeds along the A666 to the town centre. It then turns onto Borough Road and arrives at the Gala field site, adjacent to Bold Venture Park at 1-00.
Following an opening ceremony by the mayor of Blackburn with Darwen council the Gala's entertainment programme commences at 1-30 and continues through until 6-00 in the evening.
